Brainspotting

It feels like hitting a wall.

You have thoughts and feelings that you don’t understand.

You want to feel better, and you think about it all the time.

Sometimes, it even feels like things are getting better. And then, WHAM! The thoughts! The feelings! Out of the blue!

You’ve tried talk therapy, but you still feel overwhelmed by your thoughts and feelings. You’re not sure what more to do at this point.

The goal is for you to feel better!

“You don’t have to know what it is to know that it is.” Dr. David Grand, Ph.D.

You’re looking for answers and praying for insight as a response to the disappointment, trauma, and pain that weigh you down. How you look for answers and find them is sometimes more important than knowing why you feel or think the way you do or what caused it all.

Sometimes, you know the cause, and sometimes you don’t. But that shouldn’t be a reason to stop trying to feel better again.

Brainspotting allows you to address and process your thoughts and feelings on your terms instead of spending your energy trying to react to them.

Brainspotting helps you…

…process a troubling occurrence quickly and effectively.

Brainspotting provides access to self-healing by helping you process what you are feeling.

If you desire something powerful that will help you realize your full potential, Brainspotting might be the thing for you.

You choose where to start, and we’ll explore together.

What do I do during Brainspotting?

David Grand, Ph.D., developed Brainspotting, a therapeutic technique that uses fixed eye positions to help connect the mind and body, tapping into the unconscious mind and how eye position relates to the client’s struggles. This procedure allows the client to identify and process trauma and negative emotions.

Here is a video where Dr. Grand explains Brainspotting:

You direct the procedure as we work together to help you process how you feel.

Stop hitting the wall!

While working with me, you will come in with your mind rested and ready to process.

You and your nervous system will lead the charge, and I will be right there with you to hold a safe space and support you all the way through.
