About Tricia Johnson, LCSW

The work we’ll do together.

Each session is tailored specifically for you.

I take time to understand your story, your goals, and the challenges you face so that we can create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.

Together, we’ll explore patterns, unpack trauma, and identify strategies that fit your unique journey.

We can create balance.

Life can be overwhelming, and it’s easy to feel stuck or pulled in every direction. My approach blends trauma-informed care with person-centered techniques, helping you regulate emotions, build resilience, and reconnect with your sense of self.

We’ll work on balancing your internal experiences with the demands of your daily life.

Healing isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s about discovering your strengths and learning how to navigate life with confidence and clarity. Whether you’re facing anxiety, grief, past trauma, or life transitions, I’ll be here to guide and support you.

Collaborative growth

Therapy with me is a partnership. Together, we’ll explore solutions, experiment with new perspectives, and uncover the resources you already have inside.

I believe growth comes from curiosity, reflection, and active engagement, and I’ll provide the accountability and support to help you take meaningful steps forward.

Your journey is unique, and my goal is to walk alongside you; helping you process, adapt, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

My experience and training.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with master’s degree in Social Work from Portland State University and bachelor’s degree from Utah State University, plus specialized training in trauma, grief, and somatic approaches. I’ve had the opportunity to work in all kinds of settings – everything from emergency rooms and hospice care to schools and outpatient clinics. I love working with people of all ages and use evidence-based approaches like DBT, EMDR, and SE.

All these different experiences have really shaped how I understand that everyone’s needs are unique, and I’m committed to meeting you exactly where you are.

Whether you’re navigating grief, looking to develop better coping skills, or working through life’s challenges, I believe in providing flexible, individualized care that feels right for you.

I’m always learning and growing in this field because I want to offer the most effective and compassionate support I can to every person I work with.
